The book is now being used as a tool to teach tolerance and discourage bullying by the Ventura CA Unified School District, and the author is working with the LA County Unified School District and their Early Educational Centers (ECC) to donate books for underprivileged students. Copies of the book have been donated to 25 of the largest libraries in the USA. The book has also made its way around the globe to countries as distant as New Zealand and Bahrain.
